I actually love the series and feel it is well written (minus some editing errors with a few wrong words here and there that would have been caught had someone actually read the books before they released them). I would have given it 5-stars except for the bad business decision Hannah Ford made to shorten the books, charge the price you would expect to pay to read the completed book for each book (except the first one that is free to hook you in to the series). This adds up to a very expensive investment. To me that is disrespectful to your readers. I really like the books but will not continue the series (regretfully) due to this business practice. I’m not some fish on the line to be toyed with! I would be willing to pay a higher price for the full series because good authors deserve to be adequately compensated for their time and talent. I am not willing to be played with or taken advantage of, however…. But waaaay too freaking SHORT 😣! I realize that as an author you need to make money, but writing short little chapters, just enough to grab our attention is going too far 😖. I do Love your stories, but at $2.99 each, so far it's cost me almost $15.00 for 5 short chapters 🤑. Now I want to ask you TRUTHFULLY, would YOU pay that much 🤔? I'm sorry Hannah, but I'm on SSI and just CAN'T AFFORD that, so as much as I long to find out what happens next, I just can't 😪.
